So much for Jason Garrett being the next head coach in New York.
On Tuesday, the franchise decided on hiring Patriots ST coach Joe Judge as their next head coach.
Ian Rapoport would report that Matt Rhule actually called the Giants to see if they would match the deal he was going to get from the Panthers. They declined, so he signed to Carolina.
The 37-year-old Judge began his coaching career at Mississippi State back in 2005 as a graduate assistant, spending 3 years in that role before being hired by Birmingham-Southern as their linebackers coach for the 2008 season.
Judge was soon hired as the Crimson Tide’s special teams assistant before taking the same position on the Patriots’ staff three years later.
