The San Francisco 49ers cannot catch any breaks in 2020.
Adam Schefter reports that 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo is expected to be sidelined indefinitely with a high ankle sprain. He went on to state Garoppolo is expected to be sidelined a minimum of six weeks and possibly longer if surgery is needed.
On top of that news is tight end George Kittle who does indeed have a fracture in his foot which was revealed after extended testing.
Adam Schefter reports Kittle is looking at an eight-week recovery timetable for the broken bone in his foot. That would knock him out for the rest of the regular season.
In 2020, Garoppolo has appeared in six games for the 49ers and completed 67.1 percent of his passes for 1,096 yards, seven touchdowns, and five touchdowns.

Kittle has appeared in six games for the 49ers and caught 37 passes for 474 yards receiving and two touchdowns. He’s also rushed twice for 17 yards.
