Former NBA point guard Deron Williams and ex-NFL running back Frank Gore finally put all their talking aside and got in the ring to face each other in a heavyweight boxing match on the undercard of the Jake Paul-Tyron Woodley rematch Saturday night in Tampa, Florida.
Saturday’s bout, scheduled for four rounds, marked the pro debuts for both combatants.
Things got crazy in the second round after Williams pushed him through the ropes and the bout had to be delayed for a minute.
The fans wanted to see what happened and the former NFL and NBA player put on quite the show as it went all four rounds.

In the end, Deron Williams would be declared the winner.
37-year-old Williams was a three-time NBA All-Star who last played in the NBA in 2016. Gore, is a five-time Pro Bowl selection and the NFL’s third all-time leading rusher, last played for the New York Jets in 2020.
