Telvin Smith has played his last game in the NFL and is looking at the possibility of being behind bars for a long time.
According to ESPN’s Michael DiRocco, the former Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker has been arrested in Jacksonville and charged with “unlawful sexual activity with certain minors.”
News 4 in Jacksonville reported that heavily armored SWAT team officers and undercover detectives were spotted at Smith’s home.
Smith announced his intention to sit out the 2019 season for his mental health. The Jaguars fined him for missing mandatory minicamp.
The 29-year-old recorded 134 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, a defensive touchdown, a forced fumble, a recovery and two pass defenses during the 2018 season.
