Mario Henderson, a former offensive tackle at Florida State and starter for the Oakland Raiders, has tragically passed away at a young age.
He dies just eight days shy of his 36th birthday.
Henderson played college football at Florida State from 2003-2006 before the Raiders franchise selected him in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft. Following his time in the NFL, Henderson spent time with the Virginia Destroyers (United Football League), Utah Blaze (Arena Football League), Colorado Ice (Indoor Football League) and Tampa Bay Storm (Arena Football League).
He only started one year with the Seminoles — his senior season. During his Raiders career, he appeared in 44 games, starting 28 of them.
