According to Vaughn McClure, tests confirmed that Falcons safety Keanu Neal will indeed miss the remainder of the 2019 season after tearing his Achilles tendon on Sunday.
This sucks for a guy who missed 15 games in 2018 due to a season-ending ACL tear in Week 1 and was later placed on injured reserve.
The former first-round pick had appeared in two games and recorded 10 tackles and no interceptions for the Falcons in 2019.
Neal stands to make a base salary of $1.914 million for the 2019 season.
