Back in January 2019, former Dallas Cowboys running back Darren McFadden was arrested in Texas after driving while intoxicated at a Whataburger. He was reportedly found asleep behind the wheel of a 2019 GMC Yukon in the drive-thru at a Whataburger in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
To make matters worse, he began to resist officers on the scene which caused them to smash out his windows, arrest him, and get him booked for DWI and resisting arrest.
More than a year later and he has found out his punishment after he reached a plea agreement with prosecutors to spend four days in jail.
As part of the plea agreement, McFadden will also have to pay fines and fees, and additionally, his driver’s license will be suspended for 90 days.
The Oakland Raiders drafted him with the 4th overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft after he had a stellar career at Arkansas. He would go on to play seven seasons with the Raiders before spending his next three with the Dallas Cowboys.
