ESPN Cleveland’s Tony Grossi is once again back in the news for something he said, but he definitely did not mean for these comments to get out into the general public.
On Tuesday, Grossi was back in hot water after he was heard on a hot mic referring to Browns QB Baker Mafield as a “fucking midget” while discussing the Browns missing out on Joe Burrow.
It took about an hour for ESPN to respond and they effectively suspended him for those derogatory comments, calling it a slur against little people.
By the way, Mayfield is listed at 6-foot-1, which is right around the same height as Deshaun Watson.
