As for the Browns and Watson, they’re said to have agreed to a new five-year contract.
The Cleveland Browns were said to be out of the running for Watson’s services just a few days ago. It looks like the star quarterback had a change of heart somewhere along the way.
Whatever the case may be, Watson will now join Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson and Mitch Trubisky in a tough AFC North division. As for current Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield, looks like he’ll be granted his trade request after all.
