This is not a good look for Demaryius Thomas.
The former Denver Broncos wide receiver who was traded to the Houston Texans during the 2018 season, but ultimately released from the roster after the season is in some big trouble after he was taken into custody and accused of vehicular assault, Denver police confirmed to FOX31.
Thomas suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle rollover crash in a vehicle he was driving earlier this month.
It happened around 12:20 a.m. on Feb. 16 on Auraria Parkway near 12th Street when he lost control of the vehicle, according to Denver police. It rolled and came to a stop in the grassy median near Speer Boulevard.
Thomas is being held for investigation of vehicular assault, driving without insurance and reckless driving, according to jail records. Investigators said at the time that they didn’t believe alcohol or drugs to be factors in the crash.
