On Tuesday, it was announced that the Dallas Cowboys were releasing Allen Hurns from the roster some six months after he suffered a gruesome injury in the playoffs that ended his season.
The now former Cowboys wide receiver ran a routine route to get a routine first down, but an awkward tackle would turn his season upside down when he dislocated his ankle against the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card game. He would have surgery just hours later.
Here was that moment back in the playoffs against the Seattle Seahawks:
Hurns caught 20 passes on 35 targets for 295 yards and a pair of touchdowns during his 1st year with the team.
