If you haven’t noticed, Cris Carter was absent from First Things First on Thursday and Friday, but there was a clear reason for that. He has reportedly been suspended from the show pending an investigation, according to the Big Lead.
“The nature of the investigation is unclear. Also unclear is if or when Carter will return to the show.”
Carter is still listed as co-host of the program in the cable guide for this week, but there is till no word on when he might return or if they will reveal the investigation into why he is being suspended.
Back in 2013, it was revealed that Carter had an affair with former makeup artist at ESPN, Sue Baumann, which made her husband cause huge issues at the network because he wouldn’t stop “calling and harassing an employee at ESPN.”
The Baumanns’ marriage broke up and they are divorced.
First Things First with Carter, Nick Wright, and Jenna Wolfe launched on FS1 in 2017.
