The Dallas Cowboys lost more than just their first game of the season on Thursday.
Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News reports that Cowboys WR Michael Gallup suffered a calf strain in Thursday’s loss to the Buccaneers and is now projected to miss three to five weeks.
Gallup is set to be an unrestricted free agent in 2022.
In 2021, Gallup has appeared in one game for the Cowboys and caught four passes for 36 yards receiving.
Last season, Gallup appeared in all 16 games for the Cowboys and caught 59 passes for 843 yards and five touchdowns.
Losing him is a big hit to the offense.
