BREAKING: Christian McCaffrey Signs New Deal, Becomes Highest-Paid RB In NFL History

Christian McCaffrey is now the face of the Carolina Panthers after the team parted ways with Cam Newton.

They made that clear on Monday when they inked the running back to a 4-year extension that made him the highest paid RB in NFL history.

Carolina’s Christian McCaffrey is signing a four-year extension, averaging $16 million per year, making him the highest-paid running back in NFL history, sources tell ESPN.

The 23-year-old former first-round pick of the Panthers back in 2017 played in all 16 games last season, racking up 1,387 yards on 287 carries to go along with 116 receptions for 1,005 yards receiving and 19 total touchdowns.
