Looks like the Kansas City Chiefs could be on the verge of losing another big name player from their potent offense.
According to reports, Pro Bowl wide receiver Tyreek Hill is being investigated by the Overland Park Police Department for battery. The incident report lists a juvenile as the victim, while Hill’s fiancee, Crystal Espinal, is listed under “others involved.” It’s unclear exactly when the incident took place, but the report is dated Thursday.
One source provided some details about the incident, saying that the victim is actually Hill’s 3-year-old son, and it is believed he actually suffered a broken arm. They also go on to say that Crystal has been in contact with the Overland Park Police.
The Chiefs have since released a statement regarding the allegations:
Hill has not yet been charged with a crime.
He’s just the latest Chiefs player to find himself in hot water. Last year, it was Kareem Hunt who was released after footage from a hotel surveillance cam caught him attacking and kicking a female. As for Hill, he’s no stranger to this type of stuff. The Chiefs were able to snag him in the 5th round of the 2016 draft only after his stock had fallen as a result of a domestic violence incident involving Crystal back in 2014. She was pregnant with their son at the time of the alleged assault.
