Melvin Gordon is back.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that the disgruntled tailback is officially ending his holdout and will report to the team’s facility on Thursday.
Gordon was hoping to be one of NFL’s highest-paid RBs alongside Todd Gurley, Ezekiel Elliott, David Johnson, and Le’Veon Bell, but the Chargers front office refused to move off its offer of $10 million per season, even though he wanted $13M.
The 26-year-old is set to make $5,605,000 for the 2019 season after the team picked up his 5th-year option.
