Ian Rapoport of NFL Media broke the news on Monday that the Arizona Cardinals and WR DeAndre Hopkins are closing in on an agreement on a contract extension.
He also added that Hopkins negotiated the deal himself.
Hopkins is currently entering the fourth year of his five-year, $81 million extension that includes $49 million guaranteed.
In 2019 as a member of the Houston Texans — Hopkins caught 104 passes for 1,165 yards receiving and seven touchdowns. He also rushed for 18 yards.
