Panthers QB Cam Newton‘s status for Sunday’s game against the Cardinals has been up in the air ever since he aggravated his foot injury Thursday night against the Buccaneers.
That status was finally updated on Friday when he was ruled out for the team’s matchup against the Cardinals.
The Panthers and Newton have had a slow start to the season being 0-2 already and Newton not throwing a passing touchdown and having negative rushing yardage so far in 2019.
Newton entered the season coming off of his second shoulder surgery in as many years.
