The Cleveland Browns went a completely different direction when they announced the hiring of Minnesota Vikings OC Kevin Stefanski as their next head coach, according to Ian Rapoport.
After it was all said and done, the Browns interviewed eight candidates for the job including Eagles DC Jim Schwartz, Patriots OC Josh McDaniels, Ravens OC Greg Roman, 49ers DC Robert Saleh, Bills OC Brian Daboll, Chiefs OC Eric Bieniemy and Mike McCarthy.
The 37-year-old Stefanski had the Vikings’ offense ranked No. 16 in total yards, No. 8 in points scored, No. 6 in rushing yards and No. 23 in passing yards.
