Following the overtime loss to the Los Angeles Rams over the weekend — Saints players and fans have been fuming at the fact that they were screwed out of a trip to the Super Bowl after the refereeing crew refused to throw a flag for an obvious pass interference call that changed the complexion of the entire contest.
Along with a fan starting a petition to have the two teams have a rematch this weekend that has been signed by more than 500K fans, an attorney has now stepped in to file a lawsuit to make that game happen, according to Darren Rovell.
New Orleans-based attorney Frank D’Amico Jr. filed the civil lawsuit on Tuesday asking NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to force both teams to replay the ending of the NFC Championship game.
