Antonio Brown looks to make his New England Patriots debut on Sunday.
There were heavy rumors over the past week that the often controversial WR could be put on the commissioner’s exempt list while the league investigates rape claims against him, but the decision was made on Friday that it will not happen, since there is no criminal investigation against him.
Adam Schefter also added that the NFL has opened its investigation, which will include interviews with Brown and his accuser.
Brown will now be eligible to play against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
Aside from the turmoil that he has caused off the field, the 31-year-old is still a top wideout in the game, appearing in 15 games in 2018 with the Steelers and hauling in 104 passes for 1,297 yards and 15 touchdowns.
