BREAKING: Alvin Kamara Tests Positive For COVID-19

Huge news out of New Orleans on Friday after reports surfaced of Saints RB Alvin Kamara testing positive for COVID-19.

Kamara did not practice on Friday and is waiting for confirmation from a follow up COVID-19 test.

#Saints star RB Alvin Kamara is awaiting results of another COVID-19 test as part of the normal process after an initial positive test, per source. If confirmed, Kamara would be out for Sunday’s game against the #Panthers — and most likely a possible wild-card playoff game, too.

Alvin Kamara did not practice today. He was waiting for confirmation on a COVID-19 test after having a positive test, according to a source.

Kamara would be forced to miss Week 17’s game should he produce a second positive test.

The 25-year-old has appeared in 15 games for the Saints and rushed for 932 yards on 187 carries (5 YPC) to go along with 83 receptions for 756 yards receiving and 21 total touchdowns.
