The Chicago Bears are coming off an emotional win over the Detroit Lions, but there is no time to celebrate after social media users noticed that Allen Robinson deleted any mention or affiliation he had with the team.
Hours later, it would be reported that he actually requested the team to trade him as he remains frustrated over his contract situation.
In the Week 1 win over the Lions — Allen hauled in five of his nine targets for 74 yards.
Robbinson is wrapping up a three-year, $42 million contract with Chicago that he signed following a four-year stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the club that drafted him in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft out of Penn State.
