The Dallas Cowboys are currently celebrating a 24-22 victory over the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card game at AT&T Stadium, but at least one of the players on the squad is not happy right now.
In the first quarter of today’s contest, Cowboys wide receiver Allen Hurns was tackled after securing a first down and he stayed there on the ground as it was quite evident his leg was not right. Replay showed his ankle completely snapped during that awkward tackle and his season ended right there on that field.
According to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones — Hurns should be currently going through surgery for a dislocated ankle and fractured knee.
His injury couldn’t have came at a worst time, as he has one year left on his contract with NOTHING GUARANTEED.
Next year is an option year for Dallas with a $4 million base salary with $1 million in roster bonuses incentives, where he has to be on the active roster for games to collect.
Just brutal.
