It seems like every hour we’re getting another piece of news that seems to suggest we’re inching closer and closer to a Deshaun Watson blockbuster trade.
Earlier, it was Chris Mortensen suggesting that the only way Watson would remain in Houston is if Texans owner Cal McNair steps down.
Now it’s Mort’s fellow ESPN insider, Adam Schefter, who’s reporting that the Texans organization has had internal talks to discuss possible trade partners in the Deshaun Watson trade.
You have to think that the Dolphins, 49ers and Jets would all be among the most-likely candidates to be able to put together a package that’s intriguing enough for the Texans to accept.
Those three teams were near the top of the list of the latest odds for those interested in betting on where Watson will begin the season in 2021.
