Things went from bad, to possibly okay, to downright horrible in the span of 24 hours for the Cincinnati Bengals.
On Tuesday, A.J. Green underwent a minor procedure to clean up his injured ankle and everything seemed fine at the time.
Hours later, it was revealed they found something while cleaning his ankle and he is now expected to miss several games during the 2019 regular season.
The original diagnosis of 6-8 weeks would’ve had him ready by Week 1. The timeline for the new return has not been revealed yet.
Green suffered the injury during the Bengals’ first training camp practice last Saturday when the team practiced at Welcome Stadium in Dayton.
