San Francisco 49ers superstar wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk is crediting a tiny little insect for his team’s thrilling 34-31 victory over the Detroit Lions in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game.
Speaking to FOX NFL reporter Erin Andrews after the game, Aiyuk stated that a ladybug landed on his shoe before the contest. San Fran’s fourth-year wideout, who came up with a massive game-changing reception in the third quarter, is crediting that very ladybug as the good luck charm.
Aiyuk had three receptions for 68 yards and one touchdown in San Francisco’s 34-31 victory that sets up a Super Bowl 54 rematch with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
