It’s safe to say that wide receiver Brandin Cooks is looking for a one-way ticket out of Houston.
The Texans star has reportedly been commanding plenty of attention from teams ahead of the NFL trade deadline, and based on his recent Twitter activity, it appears as though he’d welcome a move.
Cooks was excused from Texans practice today, with the deadline just a few hours away. And it looks like he’s been spending his off-day liking tweets about him being traded.
For the time being, Cooks remains a Texan. But there are still plenty of interested teams, including the Cowboys, Rams, Vikings and Giants.
Cooks is having a disappointing season in 2022, racking up just 32 receptions for 354 yards and one touchdown through seven games. Entering the year, he had put together six 1,000-yard campaigns through his first eight seasons in the NFL.
