A Dallas Cowboys player flew some of his teammates in his own plane over the weekend and fans would like it very much if he never did that again.
Just prior to Saturday’s preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks, Brandin Cooks, who is a licensed pilot, took his new Dallas teammates Stephon Gilmore and Micah Parsons on a flight over Seattle in a small plane ahead of their preseason game.
None of the three players were featured in Sunday’s clash against the Seahawks.
Cooks documented their adventure, posting an Instagram story with the caption, “They let the wrong ones in the sky,” and even petitioning for himself to do a flyover before the national anthem at a Cowboys game.

Cooks, in his first season with the Cowboys, hasn’t recorded a stat yet in the preseason.
The veteran wide receiver joined the Cowboys via trade this offseason after spending the previous three seasons with the Texans.
Throughout the course of his nine-year NFL career, Cooks has hauled in over 1,000 receiving yards in six of those seasons. The former Oregon State star has hauled in 630 total catches for 8,616 receiving yards, while bringing in 49 total touchdown catches in his career.
Cooks only had 57 receptions for 699 yards and three touchdowns in 2022, just the third time in his first nine seasons he failed to reach 1,000 receiving yards.
He figures to play a significant role in Dallas’s offense in 2023.
