The trade market for elite pass rushers appears to be heating up ahead of this afternoon’s NFL trade deadline.
We’ve already seen the likes of Robert Quinn and Roquan Smith get moved before deadline day. And according to sources, they may not be the only ones.
Earlier, it was reported that the Los Angeles Rams offered not one, but two first round picks to the Carolina Panthers in exchange for defensive end Brian Burns. Unfortunately, their offer was rejected, as the Panthers appear content to move forward with Burns as a big piece of their future.
With Burns off the market, it appears as though teams are turning their attention towards Denver Broncos pass-rusher Bradley Chubb, and at least two teams are reportedly contemplating giving up a first-round pick for his services.
According to one “well-plugged in GM,” Chubb has received enough interest from around the league that the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins are currently considering trading their first round pick in 2023 for the 26-year-old former Pro Bowler.

The Broncos currently stand at 3-5 on the season following their victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. It’ll be interesting to see if they remain sellers or opt to hold onto Chubb and make a second-half push for the postseason.
Chubb is currently 26-years-old and is set to become a free agent this offseason. The fifth-overall pick from 2018 has 26 career sacks in 49 games, including 5.5 sacks this season.
