It’s official. The Denver Broncos have traded linebacker Bradley Chubb and the winning team in his sweepstakes is the Miami Dolphins.
According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Miami will send the Broncos a first-rounder (which the Dolphins previously acquired from the San Francisco 49ers). Denver will also receive a 4th-round pick in 2024 and running back Chase Edmonds.
As for the Dolphins, they are expected to sign Chubb to a massive extension that will keep him in South Beach over the long haul.
Chubb’s name has been coming up in trade rumors for the past few weeks, with reports stating that the team had received offers involving first round picks.
Earlier today, it was reported that the Broncos were looking for two first-round picks in exchange for the 26-year-old former fifth-overall pick.

They didn’t quite get two-first rounders, but GM George Paton will have to be happy about getting at least one first-round pick back after the team mortgaged their future on struggling quarterback Russell Wilson.
