Believe it or not, a drone caused two different football games to stop.
That was the case late in the Stanford vs. Washington game of Week 4 and then on Sunday in the NFL. A drone was seen hovering over Husky Stadium and wound up forcing a game delay as officials worked to remove the interruption.
During the Seahawks-Falcons game on Sunday, the game had to be stopped as refs had cleared the field and security investigated yet another drone in the area.
It would later be determined that the drone appearing over the stadium yesterday belonged to the University of Washington, but it suddenly ‘went rouge.’
