The New York Giants are 2-1, but anyone watching them on Monday Night Football knows they are not quite as good as their record implies.
Daniel Jones has completed 64.1% of his passes for 560 yards with three touchdowns to two interceptions over the first three games of 2022. He now sports 0-9 record in prime time games.
However, RB Saquon Barkley is starting to look like his old self and it has Boomer Esiason thinking he might be shipped out of town.
Appearing on FanDuel’s “Up & Adams,” the CBS analyst and former NFL MVP said that if Giants running back Saquon Barkley keeps producing like he is, the Buffalo Bills might come calling to trade for him.
“If Saquon Barkley continues to do what he’s doing … by the trade deadline, … that’s a serious thing that I think the Buffalo Bills would look at… Saquon is probably as good now as he’ll ever be in the NFL … why would the Giants keep him? If the Bills would love to have a top-end running back and give the Giants a second or a third-round draft pick, you’d have to consider it if you’re the Giants.”
Quarterback Josh Allen is the team’s most consistent runner, but it also puts him in danger of taking too many hits and possibly getting injured.

Saquon could fix that real quick.
With 317 rushing yards to his name this season, Barkley only trails Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb (341) and leads Cordarelle Patterson (302) of the Atlanta Falcons.
Barkley continues to impress in what he predicted to be his bounce-back season.
