Bodycam footage from the scene of Henry Ruggs’ fatal crash in 2021 was released by police this Friday showing a man begging for help for the former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver.
Ruggs will spend time in prison after pleading guilty to felony DUI causing death earlier this month as a result of the crash that saw him slam his car into the vehicle of 23-year-old Tina Tintor before it caught fire.
Tina and her dog died as a result of the flames.
Las Vegas police have made footage of the aftermath public, showing what took place when they arrived on the scene. The officers were getting out of their car when they were approached by a male individual who asked for help for Ruggs and appeared to be in tears.
The WR’s Corvette is shown totaled while Tintor’s is engulfed in flames, with mini-explosions going off.
“I know somebody’s probably in there,” the man said in reference to Tintor’s vehicle, adding, “but this is Henry Ruggs right here.”

“He plays for the Raiders. He needs help ASAP,” the man continued after being asked to calm down.
A dazed Ruggs was standing outside of his car at the time.
Investigations later determined that the former NFL player was driving at 156 miles per hour seconds before the crash, with a blood test revealing he had a blood alcohol level of .16, which is twice the legal limit.
Ruggs will face 3-10 years in prison on the back of his guilty plea.
