Former MLB and NFL star Bo Jackson has revealed he’s going through something you probably wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy.
The former Heisman Trophy winner is set for a medical procedure at the end of this week as he has been suffering from hiccups for over a year.
Jackson, 60, was on McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning this Wednesday when he explained the ordeal, revealing he was unable to attend a ceremony in which former MLB great Frank Thomas was immortalized at Auburn via a statue.
“I wasn’t there because of dealing with hiccups,” Jackson revealed. “I’ve had the hiccups since last July. I’m getting a medical procedure done the end of this week, I think, to try to remedy it.”
“I’ve been busy sitting at the doctor’s poking me, shining lights down my throat, probing me every way they can to find out why I’ve got these hiccups. That’s the only reason I wasn’t there.”
This is as unimaginable as it gets. Hiccups get annoying after just a few minutes; having it for well over a year should be more than enough to drive anyone crazy.

Jackson noted that no doctor has been able to determine the cause of his constant hiccups but, hopefully, the procedure gives him some relief.
It’s claimed that chronic hiccups could last several years. Maybe it’s something you could get used to after a while, but please never let us find out.
Good luck, Bo!
