NFL Fans are in disbelief on the back of a wild rumor that’s come out this Saturday which, if turns out to have weight, could be a massive win for the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles are coming off a Super Bowl loss and will look to be back there as soon as possible. However, they’ve lost a number of key players in the offseason, including running back Miles Sanders.
According to Ninja Warrior host Akbar Gbajabiamila, Philadelphia could bring in a major upgrade in Derrick Henry to offset the departure.
The Tennessee Titans running back is one of the best players in his position and would likely be a huge hit in Philly, which is why fans are refusing to believe Akbar’s scoop could be true.

Akbar, a former NFL defensive end, shares the same player agency as Henry, which could explain where he got his information from. But fans aren’t ready to believe him just yet. Should this check out, he could earn himself quite a reputation. The ex-DE will be hoping things work out on that front now that he’s put himself out there.
It’s worth noting that the Eagles worked out a deal with the Titans in 2022 that saw them land wide receiver A.J. Brown. Might they be able to pull off another blockbuster trade with the same team this year?
Akbar certainly seems to think so.
