New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is the subject of a new biography set to launch later this year.
The book, written by Ian O’Connor, is called ‘Out Of The Darkness: The Mystery Of Aaron Rodgers’ and will drop on August 13.
A description from its Amazon page can be read right below:
“From his controversial Covid stance to his methods of spiritual awakening to his estrangement from his family to his high-profile romances to his devastating Achilles injury a mere four plays into his New York Jets career, Rodgers has long dominated the NFL’s news cycle.
“As Rodgers launches his comeback and his bid to lead the Jets to a championship, acclaimed sports biographer Ian O’Connor uses hundreds of original interviews to pull back the curtain and answer the most penetrating questions about perhaps the country’s most famous and most enigmatic athlete.
“Just like he did in his previous works on Bill Belichick, Mike Krzyzewski, Derek Jeter, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, O’Connor reveals all sides of an all-time great and delivers a portrait of a complex man and four-time NFL MVP that will forever shape the way football fans view him.”
There seems to be some excitement among fans, with several of them expressing a willingness to get the book as soon as it drops. You can see some reactions below:

Some fans also joked about the book being listed as a baseball title on Amazon.
Who knows? Maybe we’ll find out he played baseball at a high level too. He does have quite an arm after all.
Meanwhile, the veteran quarterback is gearing up for a return in 2024 after spending all of last season sidelined with an Achilles injury. According to O’Connor, Rodgers has gotten “pretty jacked” ahead of his comeback and has confirmed that he is indeed bigger.
