Cole Beasley was really good this season for the Bills.
In 15 games, the Buffalo Bills WR hauled in a career-high 82 catches for a career-high 967 yards at a career-high 76.6 catch percentage. He had eight catches for 112 yards in a 48-19 rout of the Broncos in Week 15, but then he slowed down. Like way down.
He had 17 yards in Week 16, didn’t play in Week 17, recorded 57 in the Wild Card game, and followed that up with nothing against the Ravens in the divisional round. There was a reason for that.
Beasley had a broken fibula.
Beasley added you just “take a few meds and suck it up,” and that he won’t need any surgery as it was a partial break.
“It wasn’t enough to affect me like that,” Beasley said. “I knew the next game [Dolphins] was probably out of the question. They told me it was. There was no way I was going to miss the playoff game especially after watching week 17. I was gonna figure it out one way or the other.”

“I just realized there’s not many opportunities that you get on a team like this that’s special and has this chance. You try to find a way to push through it and be the best you can for your teammates,” Beasley said. “You’ve gotta be careful so you don’t hurt the team as well. I knew what I could do, within myself, I believed I could still play through whatever. Everybody’s playing injured, you just gotta push through it.”
Beasley finished the season with 82 catches for 967 yards and four touchdowns.
