Athletes have all sorts of different pre-game routines before they hit the playing surface, but the habit of Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is especially unique.
And, depending on who you ask, rather gross.
Speaking on Yahoo Sports’ “Radio Row” program, Bills superstar wide receiver Stefon Diggs revealed that his teammate “throws up” in the locker room before each game. Sometimes, he even lets it out at halftime, Diggs added.
Judging by Allen’s dominance on the field over these last four years, it’s safe to say that this pre-game habit works just fine for him. And hey, former Chicago Blackhawks goalie Glenn Hall had the same pre-game routine and carved out a Hall of Fame career for himself.
The 27-year-old Allen completed 66.5 percent of his pass attempts in 2023 for 4,306 yards and 29 touchdowns against 18 interceptions. Allen led the Bills on a five-game winning streak to close out the regular season, but their Super Bowl dreams were again dashed by Patrick Mahomes and the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round.
