Buffalo Bills running back Nyheim Hines is going to be dressed for the occasion when his team takes on the Chicago Bears in a Christmas Eve game this Saturday.
Hines appears primed to deliver Bills fans gifts and Christmas cheer this weekend, having gotten himself a pair of bespoke Christmas-themed cleats.
According to TMZ Sports, Hines was keen on taking on Saturday’s pregame wearing something commemorating the holiday, so he reached out to his plug Rodney Jackson.
Jackson has built a strong brand for himself, having begun customizing cleats in 2016.
He’s designed a special pair of Adidas ones for Hines, who was traded to Buffalo last month. The cleats are wrapped in green velvet while outlined by red trimming and bells. Jackson is fully responsible for the concept and had the footwear ready in around two hours.
“I cut elf slippers and added a lil’ more stuffing [to the cleats], glued it, sewed it, and added new bells to it,” he said.

Fans who know Hines well might have been expecting this from the 26-year-old as, last year, he wore Grinch-themed pregame cleats, also designed by Jackson, for the occasion.
