Dalvin Cook has been brought up aplenty in trade rumors over the past week, but for now, he remains a member of the Minnesota Vikings.
Last week, it was reported that Minnesota received a trade offer for their star running back. It’s unclear if the Vikings are actually shopping their Pro Bowl running back, or if they wish to retain him.
A fan tweeted at Dalvin’s brother, Buffalo Bills running back James Cook, and suggested that he recruit the Minnesota star over to Orchard Park. Here’s how the younger Cook brother responded:
The Bills could certainly use a running back like Dalvin. The team hasn’t had a 1,000-yard rusher since LeSean McCoy back in 2017. Devin Singletary, who led the Bills with 819 rushing yards in 2022, is a free agent.
Cook would be an enticing fit in a Buffalo offense led by dual-threat quarterback Josh Allen. Then again, the Bills might be keen to give a bigger workload to James, who rushed for a respectable 507 yards and two touchdowns on only 89 carries.

For his career, Dalvin has 5,993 rushing yards and 47 touchdowns to go along with 221 receptions for receiving 1,794 yards and five touchdowns.
The Vikings already made one big move on offense by releasing fan favorite and former Pro Bowl wide receiver Adam Thielen. Would they really move on from a four-time Pro Bowl rusher who has racked up four consecutive 1,000-yard seasons? Only time will tell, but it’s fair to say he would do wonders in Buffalo’s prolific offense.
