If you asked the Buffalo Bills players earlier in the week whether they were prepared to step back onto the field and play a game this weekend, you probably would have heard a lot of them say “no.”
But with the recent positive developments from teammate Damar Hamlin, along with the words from his father, it appears as though the Bills are ready to go for Sunday’s contest against the New England Patriots.
In fact, it almost sounds like they are eager to get back out their and play for Hamlin, based on the words of quarterback Josh Allen and head coach Sean McDermott.
When asked by the media whether they’re ready to go, both men says yes, with Allen adding, “That is what Damar wants. That’s what his dad wants. Guys are excited to get out there.”
That’s great news for the Bills and the NFL… and probably bad news for the Patriots, who will need to win in order to make the playoffs.
The great news here, though, is that Hamlin is doing well and has progressed to the point where these players once again feel comfortable going out there and playing the game they love.

Based on the latest update, Hamlin is now breathing on his own and communicating with his teammates. It’s incredible progress considering where things stood at the beginning of the week.
Hopefully the good news continues to roll in on a daily basis.
