He’s not wrong.
On Sunday, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen suffered a game-ending head injury on a helmet-to-helmet collision with New England Patriots cornerback Jonathan Jones, and somehow Jones remained in the game.
Micah Hyde was not happy about that.
“The first thing that came out of my mouth on the sideline (was) ‘If one of us had did that to 12 (Patriots quarterback Tom Brady), we wouldn’t have been in the game anymore.’” Hyde said. “There’s no way we would continue to play in that game.”
Before he had to exit the game, Allen struggled as he threw three interceptions and completed less than 50 percent of his passes for the first time in four games this season.

“Obviously that’s our quarterback and we ride or die with him,” Hyde said. “To see that happen – Josh didn’t slide, but at the end of the day it doesn’t matter if that’s a running back you can’t head-to-head (hit a player).”
Bills coach Sean McDermott was certainly not happy about that hit on his QB.
“There’s no room in football for that,” McDermott said.
Bills backup quarterback Matt Barkley finished the game, completing 9 of 16 passes for 127 yards and an interception.
