Games along the east coast were hit with some treacherous weather during the first Sunday of this season, and it looks like we’re headed for more of the same on Monday.
Just hours before the start of tonight’s Monday Night Football contest between the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills, a massive storm has swept through MetLife Stadium, resulting in a “shelter in place” warning.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, no players or personnel have been allowed on the field.
The good news is they’re expecting things to clear up before game time, but you can expect the field to be in rough conditions after it was chewed up by the Giants and Cowboys in the rain last night as well.
The Jets enter this contest with high expectations, as it marks the first game of the Aaron Rodgers era in the Big Apple.
