As we found out in 2020, Tom Brady doesn’t need Bill Belichick on his side in order to win an NFL playoff game. That fact got cemented for the second time on Sunday when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the New Orleans Saints.
But apparently, Linda Holliday didn’t think he deserved the credit. While trying to defend her boyfriend, Bill Belichick, she also implied that Brady did not deserve credit for that win.
“And you have all the answers evidently? Tom didn’t score once last night … not once! Defense won that game. Were you even watching? OTOH – I’m happy for Tom’s career! Why can’t you be?” she wrote.
Tom Brady, in fact, did score three times to stamp his team’s place in the NFC championship.
After getting blasted in the comment section, Linda went back and corrected herself by saying Brady only scored because of the help of the defense.
