Patriots coach Bill Belichick made sure to distance himself far away from the newest scandal involving the franchise after issues arose regarding a Patriots employee appearing to film the Cincinnati Bengals’ sideline and coaches during their game against the Browns.
It was later revealed that the videographer was filming a Patriots scout for a feature on the Patriots’ website.
On WEEI today, Belichick said he had no involvement in the taping.
“Yeah I heard about this. You know, evidently this is our production people on the TV show that were there. We have nothing to do with anything they produce,” Belichick said. “I’ve never even seen their tapes. This is something we had 100 percent nothing to do with.”
Regardless of what he says, those tapes or tape are now in the hands of the NFL and it will prove what was being taped and what wasn’t being taped.
