You almost never see Bill Belichick looking like a man who’s entirely out of answers.
But the greatest head coach in NFL history, indeed, seemed to be out of answers after quarterback Mac Jones threw a pick-six in Sunday’s road game against the Dallas Cowboys which put the visitors in a 28-3 hole.
Let’s just say that Belichick’s reaction on Jones’ pick-six to Dallas corner DaRon Bland just about sums up the mood in Patriots land right now:
With the game wawy out of reach in the third quarter, Belichick benched Jones in favor of Bailey Zappe. It’ll be interesting to see if the QB switch is temporary, or if Zappe will get the keys for Week 5.
