As the New England Patriots continue to crumble, more and more questions about Bill Belichick’s future in Foxborough continue to arise.
The Patriots are sitting at an ugly 1-5 heading into Sunday’s Week 7 home contest against the Buffalo Bills. Not only are they about to suffer their third losing season in four years, but the Patriots are about to go a fifth straight year without winning a single playoff game.
If owner Robert Kraft decides to fire Belichick, or if the latter decides to leave New England on his own, there certainly wouldn’t be a shortage of teams interested in the 71-year-old.
At BetOnline, the Washington Commanders are listed as the betting favorites to land Belichick if he’s NOT with the Patriots in 2024 with +200 odds. The Chicago Bears are next on that list with +300 odds, followed by the Los Angeles Chargers (+400) and Las Vegas Raiders (+600).
The Tennessee Titans have the fifth-bet odds at +700, with the Minnesota Vikings behind them at +900. Interestingly, Tom Brady’s old team in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are next on that list with +900 odds.
Belichick and Brady led the Patriots to nine Super Bowl appearances and six Lombardi Trophies over a 17-year span from 2001 to 2018. But all good things must come to an end, and the Pats’ dynasty ended the moment Brady walked out the door in 2020.

Will another down year in New England ultimately lead to Belichick following Brady out the door, four years later? Only time will tell, but it feels more likely with each passing New England defeat.
