Bill Belichick’s press conferences have always been must-see television, and his lasted was no exception.
Following the Patriots’ 20-13 Wild Card loss to the Tennessee Titans, one reporter asked Bill Belichick if he had anything to say to the Patriots fans who have stuck with the team “through thick and thin.”
In classic Belichick fashion, the Pats head coach was having none of that question, reminding the reporter that Patriots fans have rarely had to deal with “the thin” during his tenure in Foxborough.
Here’s the transcript:
“We appreciate our fans. I wouldn’t say it’s been all that thin around here, personally. Maybe you feel differently, but I haven’t heard too many fans say that, so…”
If you’re going to come at Bill Belichick with a weak question like that, you can expect to get torched 100 times out of 100.
