New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is having a rough 2023, and it appears as if things are about to get worse.
The Pats are 1-3 to start the season and were down 21-0 to the New Orleans Saints at the half at the time of writing. Barring a major change, they’re ending Week 5 at 1-4.
Belichick’s personal life hasn’t provided much solace as he’s recently been through a breakup. The coach and longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday split up earlier this year and Page Six has divulged some of the troubling details.
According to the source, Linda has refused to move out of Belichick’s home, in spite of their estrangement.
“Six-time Super Bowl champ Belichick has been with Holiday since 2007, but we hear that they’ve been involved in a drawn-out, back-and-forth breakup for nearly a year,” they report.
“(In fact, we’re told Holliday has even been staying at his home lately, despite the split).”

PEOPLE also reports that they have issues to clear up… whatever that means at this point.
“They have issues to clear up that come from a long relationship as well as her role in his professional life,” the publication notes, citing a source.
Bill and Linda have been together since 2007. They met during a night out and the Pats HC would later ask her out with flowers.
It’s been reported that New England brass harbor fears over what Linda might reveal given that she’s very outspoken and has an active presence on social media.
